This is one of the paintings I did to develop my style. It is a dialogue with Basquiat inspired by urban and flat art. INSTA QUEEN is a catharsis about a personal situation and an investigation into hypergamy, Instagram and social networks in the current moment. I use oil sticks because I was researching more about Basquiat's art, plus it provides the opportunity to reflect the intensity of the hand pulse and emotion at that moment. As you can see.

STORY DETAIL:

During the covid situation there was no canvas available to paint. My urgency to paint this painting was so great that I had to use the back of one of the paintings I had previously done. I didn't want to paint over it so I decided to do it on the back.
